The Barn Theatre
This precious pocket of talent is one of the area's finest live performing theaters. It features six shows a year with a cast of over 200 volunteer artists. The Barn is conveniently located in a downtown Willmar playhouse with thrust stage and seating for 220.

Spicer Castle Murder Mystery
With lace curtains, antique furniture and the squeak of wood floors, the Spicer Castle on Green Lake is the perfect place to catch a murderer and you are a suspect! Complete with an exquisite dinner menu, the Spicer Castle hosts a hilarious Murder Mystery Dinner each weekend, year-round.

Fishing
Fishing is a way of life here, and we're ready to share our numerous glacial lakes, bait and boats with you. Remember, the fish are always biting, but it's up to you to wet the hook. Choose from many lakes within Kandiyohi County.

Glacial Lakes Trail
Hit the trail and have fun experiencing our rolling hills, prairie, wetlands and farm land! This 22-mile trail starts at the Willmar Civic Center and ends at Kandiyohi County's northern border in Hawick. Built on the old Burlington Northern Railroad bed, 12 miles are blacktopped for biking, roller blading and hiking. An adjacent path available for horseback riding. The entire trail is open for snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. The trail goes through Spicer and New London. Surface: Paved/Some gravel
