Athletics play an important part of student life at Ridgewater College by providing exciting events for students, fans and boosters. Most practices and competitions are held on the Willmar campus.

Ridgewater College competes in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) and Region 13.

The Warriors and Lady Warriors have won the MCAC All-Sports Award 8 of the last 10 years.

Academic Success
Ridgewater College prides itself on keeping athletes academically on-track. Coaches actively support their athletes and encourage them to succeed in the classroom as well as on the playing field.

Fan Support & Sports Coverage
Varsity sporting events draw fans from the surrounding area including parents, fans, and boosters.

Local media coverage includes: West Central Tribune, KSAX-TV, KWLM, Q102, KDJS, KARP, the student newspaper (Ridgewater Review), and other small town newspapers around the area.

Intramurals
A variety of intramural sports are also offered on the Willmar and Hutchinson Campus. League events differ by campus and may include: touch football, basketball, bowling, volleyball, softball, tennis and golf.
