The Ridgewater College Concert Choir is an ensemble that performs a wide variety of sacred and secular literature from Renaissance madrigals to contemporary popular song arrangements. The choir takes a bi-annual tour where they have performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall and St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City, and the Chicago Temple and Comer Children’s Hospital. The choir also participates annually in the Minnesota State College and University Fine Arts Festival. In addition to this, the choir performs concerts throughout the year and often collaborates with area ensembles such as the West Central Singers and the Willmar Area Symphonic Orchestra. They enjoy providing community outreach and service work by performing at local nursing homes and churches. The group consists of a wide range of students from both transfer and technical areas of the college and is open to all students.
