Carrie Ogdahl
Head Women's Basketball Coach
 
 
Coach Ogdahl just completed her 18th season as head coach of the Warriors and has compiled a record of 241-231.  National tournament appearances (3rd place in 2001, 6th place in 2002 and 5th place in 2006), Region champions in 2001, 2002 and 2006, Region runner-ups on 2005, a state championship in 2001, state runner-up in 2002 and 2005, 3rd in the state in 2006 and 2008, 4th in the state in 2007 and state consolation champions in 1992, 2003 and 2010 have highlighted her tenure.
 
Ogdahl started her basketball coaching career as an assistant coach here at Ridgewater in 1993, and became head coach of the Warriors in 1995-96.  She has a Business/Administration degree from Southwest State in Marshall (1993) and a master’s degree in physical education from St. Cloud State (2005).  Carrie grew up in the gym at Ridgewater College as her father, Mike Johnson, was the men’s head basketball coach at Ridgewater from 1979-2003.
 
Carrie’s husband, Darrin, is a Partner/CPA with Conway, Deuth & Schmiesing in Willmar.  They have four children, Caitlin (12), Dalton (10), Landon (7) and Brielle (5).  The Ogdahl’s reside in Spicer.
