Automation / Electronics / Wireless
Skills USA - Club
This club is open to any student who has an interest in Automation/Electronics/Wireless as hobby or a career. As a member you have access to state and national SKILLS activities and contests in your major. SKILLS USA is a great addition to anyone's resume.
Members typically engage in learning about new technologies and applying them to everyday life. Learning in this fashion fun and a little “geeky”. Members often take tours of companies and attend trade shows and conventions to further their knowledge of the industries.
Being a member has its privileges. Previous chapters have raised funds to travel to Las Vegas, NV to attend the CES & Wireless conventions. These conventions are fun and very informative on new exciting happenings in the electronics industry.
Promote Automation/Electronics/Wireless as promising career fields to prospective students, active students and the public. Create an environment to learn about these careers by attending conferences and touring companies to gain professional knowledge. Encourage friendships and cooperation among present and past Automation/Electronics/Wireless students.
