Phi Theta Kappa (PTK)
Phi Theta Kappa's mission is two-fold:
1. Recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and;
2. Provide opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service and fellowship programming.
Starting the Fall semester of 2015, PTK will hold meetings the first and third Tuesday of each month from 12pm to 1pm. Meetings are held in the Club Hub (Room #407) by the Business and Management section of the college
Eligibility for membership
To be eligible for membership in Phi Theta Kappa, a student must be enrolled at Ridgewater College, Hutchinson, have completed a minimum of 12 credits, be either a part-time or full-time student, and have achieved a cumulative grade point average greater than or equal to 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
To be eligible for continued membership in Phi Theta Kappa, a student must be enrolled at Ridgewater College, Hutchinson, be either a part-time or full-time student, and must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above.
September 1st, 12pm-1pm: Meeting in the Club Hub
September 4th, 4pm-Dark: Potluck at Elk's Park (Open to everyone)
