For the 2014-15 school year, a credit load of 16 credits per semester will be approximately $2,872.66 plus books and other related expenses.

Online Courses

Minnesota resident/non-resident tuition and fees for online courses are:

Non-resident Tuition

If you live in a state that has a reciprocity agreement with Minnesota, tuition and fees will be based on your state's reciprocity agreement. A special form must be completed. Ridgewater College allows students who reside in states that don't have reciprocity agreements with the state of Minnesota to pay in-state tuition rates.

Non-resident Tuition: $161.30 plus fees

North Dakota Reciprocity: $161.30 plus fees

South Dakota Technical Reciprocity Rate: $161.30 plus fees

South Dakota Transfer Reciprocity Rate: $176.98 plus fees

Wisconsin Tuition Rate/Enrolled Fall 2008-Spring 2012 =$158.34 per credit plus fees      

Wisconsin Tuition Rate/Enrolled Before 2008 & After Fall 2012 =$161.30 per credit plus fees

Farm Business Management: $161.30 plus fees ($172.11)

Senior Citizen Rate Age 62 or older: $20.00 fee per credit.

Note: Fees are approximately $18.36 per credit for a full-time student.

Tuition Due Dates

Summer Semester - May 5, 2014
Fall Semester - August 4, 2014
Spring Semester - December 18, 2014

Students who have not paid their tuition by the payment deadline MAY have their registration cancelled unless at least one of the following conditions are met:

  •  The college has received your FAFSA results from the US Department of Education and you have been awarded financial aid from the college.
  • You have submitted a Third Party Billing Authorization to the Business Office.
  • You have enrolled in the Post Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) program.
  • You have applied for the Nelnet Tuition Management Payment Plan before the payment due date and have submitted the required down payment.
  • The Business Office has received advance payment of a scholarship or scholarship notice to cover tuition and fees.
  • You have a Veteran's Deferment Plan; Ridgewater College has your signed deferment for each semester.

PLEASE NOTE: While Ridgewater College does participate in the registration cancellation for nonpayment process (RCFN), the above factors can prevent this from happening.  It is your responsibility to pay for the courses that you are registered for and, if you do not plan on attending, to cancel your registration within the timelines allowed.  If these dates are not followed, you may be financially and academically responsible for those classes.
