Manufacturing plays an important role in the economics of Minnesota. Manufacturers employ nearly 11% of the workforce which equates to 316,600 manufacturing employees in Minnesota in 2016. The average annual compensation for a manufacturing employee was $75,940 in 2016.

Complete a welding certificate in as little as one semester (4 months) or complete an AAS degree which can help launch you into a career in management.
