Multicultural Outreach/Academic Advisor
A participant in Minnesota’s Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program, Ridgewater provides qualifying high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors the opportunity to earn college credit while they are still in high school. See PSEO admission criteria.
Ridgewater offers two PSEO opportunities for high school students.
Eligible high school students may take college courses on campus or online – without paying tuition. Doing so allows them to earn high school and college credits simultaneously. Students have the flexibility to take all, or just a few, courses through the college.
Partnering with area high schools, Ridgewater offers some college courses to qualified high school students within their high school setting during regular school hours. All concurrent enrollment courses are taught by qualified high school instructors who partner with faculty from Ridgewater. Students who successfully complete the course receive high school and college credits.
